ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking applications from motivated and conscientious people to temporary fill the RTO Administration Officer (ASO5) position within Operational Support. As the RTO Support Officer, you will be responsible for a range of administrative functions and processes relating to aspects of training registration, preparation, co-ordination and reporting according to organisational requirements and RTO compliance standards. Successful applicants will be required to provide a range of administrate support to the Unit, including co-ordination and scheduling of training programs, data entry, drafting basic correspondence, responding to enquiries and undertaking less complex research and correspondence. Further to this, you will also enter and maintain database student information, provide administrative support to ACTCS stakeholders in the preparation and duration of training programs, and develop and maintain records in accordance with the requirements of a Registered Training Organisation and the Territory Records Act 2002. To be successful you will need to have the ability to deliver a range of student/client supports and demonstrated ability in entering and maintaining data in a range of systems to meet organisational and legislative requirements, in addition to working collaboratively with others to meet team and organisational goals. Knowledge of the record keeping and audit requirements of a Registered Training Organisation using VETtrak or similar, or the capacity to quickly gain that knowledge would be an advantage.
