Salary Range: $105,380.60 - $117,233.48 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation

We have an exciting opportunity to join Latrobe City Council as Coordinator of our dynamic Communications & Engagement team until June 2026.
About This Role
As our Coordinator Communications & Engagement you will provide Council's internal and external stakeholders with professional, proactive, and reactive communications services across a range of traditional and digital platforms.
You will provide leadership to the Communications and Engagement Team to design and implement high quality, creative and innovative strategies including communication and engagement plans as well as policies and processes for the wider organisation.
About You
For this position we are seeking a creative thinker, who will enjoy the challenges of developing and implementing innovative communication activities and solutions through a range of engaging mediums. You will have excellent interpersonal skills which will allow you to effectively coordinate the team to communicate our organisation’s message to our employees and the wider Latrobe City community.
You will have:
1. A tertiary qualification in communications, media, or a relevant discipline.
2. International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) qualification would be advantageous.
3. Highly developed understanding of communication, social media, and media best practices.
4. Relevant experience working in a multidisciplinary medium to large organisation.
5. Experience working as a senior member or supervisor of a small team.
