Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment and enjoys engaging with candidates over the phone. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for blue-collar industrial roles across warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. The position starts as a casual role. Key Responsibilities Candidate Sourcing & Engagement Conduct a minimum of 90 phone screens and 30 interviews per weekSource candidates through various channels, including:Online job boards and company databaseSocial media groups and professional networksIndustry referrals and talent poolsTargeted advertising campaignsMaintain proactive communication with potential candidates, keeping them engaged even when no immediate role is available Screening & Assessment Evaluate candidate suitability based on experience, skills, and job requirementsConduct in-depth phone and face-to-face interviewsSend and review onboarding documents, ensuring compliance with pre-employment requirementsAdminister reference checks, medical questionnaires, police checks, and other pre-employment verifications as needed Collaboration & Placement Work closely with account managers to understand client job requirementsMatch suitable candidates to job openings and coordinate placementsMaintain accurate records in the recruitment database Follow-Up & Relationship Management Provide candidates with timely updates on their application progressBuild strong relationships with candidates to encourage referrals and long-term engagementEnsure all recruitment activities align with company standards and client expectations Key Skills & Attributes Resilience & Persistence - Ability to handle high call volumes and follow up consistentlyStrong Communication - Confident phone manner and ability to engage candidates effectivelyTime Management - Ability to juggle multiple recruitment processes and meet weekly targetsAttention to Detail - Ensuring all compliance and onboarding requirements are metProactive Mindset - Ability to build candidate pipelines and maintain engagement Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a high-volume call environment is advantageous but not essentialExperience sourcing blue-collar candidates is a plusStrong computer skills, including experience with recruitment databases and Microsoft Office Job Details Position Type: CasualLocation: Brisbane CBDStart Date: ASAPReporting to: Leigh Boyle
