Let's discuss, what does flexibility look like for you?The OpportunityThe experienced Senior Development Manager proactively converts opportunities into best retail facilities that are delivered, from acquisition to completion, in a timely manner. Woolworths developments complement the community and environment and provide high quality customer amenity.What you’ll doWork with the Property Portfolio team to develop and implement strategies to deliver network plans including identifying and sourcing retail sites through varied acquisition strategies, for future activity that supports the growth of the Woolworths business.Achieve internal and authority approvals for projects that maximise amenity and financial outcomes for Woolworths and satisfy long-term community outcomes.Maintain and grow key relationships with external landowners and developers.Take a visionary and strategic approach to the planning of retail centres and mixed-use developments (including commercial and residential).What you’ll bringA tertiary Property Degree and 5+ years of experience within a similar/property-related position.Demonstrated experience in negotiating, site acquisition, design and planning approvals for retail and/or mixed-use developments (commercial or residential).Experience in guiding a team to deliver, lease and open retail and/or mixed-use (commercial or residential) centres.Broad knowledge of property economics, legislation, valuation, planning, property law, and deal structures.Knowledge of design/architecture concepts and an understanding of and experience in liaising with local government and authorities.Project planning and financial planning experience along with an understanding of analysis and well-developed commercial acumen.What you’ll experienceA global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.12 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers plus paid superannuation for up to 12 months while the Team Member is on parental leave - eligible from the first day of employment.Everyone belongs at Woolworths GroupDiversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
