We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Bakers to join our culinary team at our venue located in the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
As the art of food preparation and presentation is critical to the customer, as well as to the reputation of the venue, we are looking for individuals who are meticulous and precise in their approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Preparing, mixing, cutting and shaping dough ready for baking.
* Preparing sweet and savoury pastry and dough fillings.
* Rolling out pastry and creating a variety of baked goods.
* Monitoring proving, cooking and cooling times, in addition to ensuring the appearance of items is consistent.
* Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, so good communication skills are also important.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training.
SALARY RANGE: $55 – 70k + SUPER
