Situated on the highest point in Brisbane’s Central Business District, Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane is a 4.5 star hotel attracting both business and leisure travellers. The Hotel boasts an engaging blend of contemporary design, modern amenities and gracious hospitality dedicated to the perfect guest experience. Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane is currently looking for a casual Guest Service Agent to join our front office team.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Greet and welcome all guests.
2. Guest registration to include check in/out.
3. Handle guest queries and complaints.
4. Liaise closely with all departments in the Hotel, particularly Housekeeping and Food & Beverage.
5. Assist with after hours Reservation enquiries.
6. Report guest complaints and initiate solution following empowerment guidelines
7. Liaise with Housekeeping regarding early departures, extension or late checkouts.
8. Deliver guest amenities.
9. Provide guests with an accurate and efficient checkout ensuring hospitality standards are followed.
10. Balance all transactions at the end of shift ensuring postings have the correct supporting documentation and discrepancies reported.
REQUIREMENTS:
11. Experience working in a similar environment for minimum 6 months.
12. Excellent computer skills
13. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
14. Friendly, personable and outgoing personality.
15. Ability to work under pressure.
16. Ability to communicate across different departments throughout the hotel.
17. Committed to providing superior customer service.
18. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
