About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time Radiologist with a sub-specialty in Interventional Radiology to join our team at the Vancouver Island Health Authority's Department of Medical Imaging in Victoria.
About You:
* FRCPC Certification in Diagnostic Radiology
* Fellowship Training in Body Interventional Radiology (or planning to do so)
* Full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
* Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
* Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
* Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
About the Team:
You will be joining a group of 29 Radiologists, including 5 other Interventional Radiologists, who cover multiple hospitals and clinics in Victoria, BC.
About the Work:
You will work in two Siemens Artis Q equipped interventional suites, providing Interventional Radiology services to the whole Vancouver Island with a population of approximately 870,000. Your duties will include body interventional radiology (including interventional oncology), diagnostic neuroangiography, and endovascular treatment for ischemic stroke.
