Our purpose is simple – make possibility a reality.About The RoleAs the Recycling Manager you will lead and coordinate all recycling business activities across the Gold Coast to maximise commercial outcomes and ensure key contracts are managed in accordance with contractual requirements. Responsibilities will include:Manage the performance of the team through by establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), regular coaching and training.Accountability for ensuring appropriate governance and assurance in decision making.Maintain accurate record keeping processes for products and contracts to ensure consistency in service delivery and reporting requirements.Manage assets in accordance with Endeavour policies and procedures.Maintain and manage budgets, identifying opportunities for improvement to ensure performance targets meet organisational expectations.Ensure that all Recycling business activities are conducted in compliance with Council contractual requirements and legislative requirements.Ensure all training is in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Quality and Safeguarding (where appropriate).About You:Demonstrated experience in a waste management / resource recovery environment.Proven success leading and coordinating large teams to achieve goals and foster a safe and positive work environment.Demonstrated experience managing contractual requirements and service delivery expectations.Proficiency in computer applications including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs.Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders and deal with issues of a sensitive nature.Possession of a current driver’s licence.Committed to undertaking the relevant Security Check(s) and be issued with and hold a Positive Notice Card during employment with Endeavour.Tertiary or Certificate level education in a waste management or environmental related field of study (desirable).Benefits and PerksSalary Packaging Benefits!
