In this role, you'll:
Play a critical part in procurement planning and management in the complex, large scale and high profile Opal Next Generation project. Help inform and shape the way the next generation of the NSW opal ticketing system can be procured, developed and delivered.
Lead, manage and support a talented team of procurement staff, developing capabilities and performance to deliver procurement activities within identified procurement policies, processes and procedures and governance frameworks.
Work in a matrix environment undertaking business needs assessment, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessments, formulating recommendations and providing advice to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions and to deliver value for money procurement solutions for the project.
Coordinate the development and on-going maintenance of comprehensive supplier performance management plans in conjunction with cross-functional team for agreed strategic and materials suppliers to effectively manage supplier risk, assure delivery of contracted outcomes and supplier performance.
Fixed term, full time opportunity to 1 August 2025 | Hybrid work, Elizabeth St Sydney office base.
