Apply now Job no: 499497Work type: Permanent Part TimeClassification: Band 4 ($69,560 - $74,316 pa)Categories: Child & Family Services, Leisure & RecreationAbout the roleIn this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a developmentally appropriate educational program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from six weeks to school age, in temporary crèche care within a Leisure Centre environment (Leisurelink – Waurn Ponds).Work type: Permanent Part Time (25hrs per week / Mon to Fri - 5hrs per day)Classification: Band 4 $69,560 - $74,316 (pa – pro rata plus super)Key responsibilities include:Provide leadership to a team of childcare educators to ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment exists for all children and that the health and well-being of each child is a priority.Maintain detailed developmental observations and records for each individual child to be used as a basis for individual and group programming.Provide, implement, and evaluate age and developmentally appropriate programs for all children, individually and in group situations.Provide programs which assist children with special needs to develop their skills and abilities within a supportive environment.Assist in the development and management of staff rosters to ensure that all programming needs are planned for.About youTo be successful in this role, you will be experienced and passionate about working with children. Experience in a crèche or learning setting is highly regarded but not essential.
