**The Opportunity**
The Electrical Engineer provides technical assistance for the delivery of contract engineering support services.
This role applies engineering expertise to ensure asset capability and integrity is maintained in accordance with business expectations.
The key responsibilities include:
* Development of Engineering Change Proposals and designs
* Development of Technical Deviations
* Timely execution of engineering investigations
* Technical risk analysis and awareness
* Timely engineering review of maintenance repair plans
* Development of Requests for Problem Resolution
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A formal degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline, recognised by Engineers Australia as being suitable for registration in the Professional Engineer (Member) category (or working towards)
* An Australian Citizen status if the role requires Department of Defence and/or Department of Home Affairs Security Clearances
* Well-developed communication skills
* At least 3 years' experience in a sustainment engineering role
* Knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes
* Knowledge of configuration management systems and processes
* The ability to achieve Level 4 Authorised Engineering Authority delegation under the Navy Technical Regulatory System or equivalent
