Are you ready to play a key role in optimising Finance Systems? We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Support Officer to join our Finance & Advice team in Brisbane or Sydney. This permanent full-time role will see you managing and governing the Oracle General Ledger while supporting the delivery of impactful Finance Systems initiatives.
What You'll Do Coordinate maintenance, governance, and incident management for Finance Systems, including Oracle E-Bus and Fusion Accounting Hub.Manage Chartfield Governance mailbox and assist with Month End System and Expense Delegation mailboxes.Support system reconciliations, reporting, and testing for system changes.Contribute to training, process improvements, and data governance in Collibra.Assist with general ledger data requests from auditors and regulators.Communicate system updates, year-end support, and outages with stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders to drive optimal business outcomes.Ensure alignment with Suncorp's strategy, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.Foster a positive team culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.What You'll Bring A Business/Finance/Accounting Degree (desired).At least 2 years of experience in finance and systems accounting, ideally within financial services or insurance.Strong functional knowledge of Oracle General Ledger and accounting principles.Ability to build relationships, educate customers, and maintain a customer-focused approach.Exceptional communication and influencing skills to drive business outcomes.Strong governance, risk assessment, and decision-making capabilities.Innovative mindset with a passion for improving processes and finding solutions.Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines.A positive, solution-oriented attitude and a team player spirit.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What We Can Offer You At Suncorp, we offer benefits that support, empower, and reward our people.
