The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Florist to join our purpose driven, supportive team.
The position plays an integral role in the day to day running of our florist operations - this includes creating beautiful floral arrangements, fulfilling online orders and serving customers.
Working in a fast paced environment, no two days will be the same as we adapt to the ever changing needs of our customers.
You will have the opportunity to expand on your floristry skills and use your creativity all while engaging with customers from all walks of life.
Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service, tailored to the individual needs of each customer Receive stock, unpack deliveries, and prep for arrangement and display Ensure that the shop floor is adequately stocked, well presented Maintain plant care until ready for sale Use your creative experience to make arrangements to order and for display About You Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Industry qualified in floristry (Floristry Certificate III preferred but not required) Demonstrated experience working in customer service or retail with experience using a POS system Demonstrated time management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of the basics of plant care and maintenance Strong capability to work quickly and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Valid and current Victorian Drivers Licence Must be available to work Easter weekend, Mother's Day weekend, Father's Day weekend and Christmas Day.
Must be willing to undertake a medical to determine fitness for job - this role requires the ability to lift heavy objects and unpack goods received What's on offer?
