You will provide a team leader role in supporting the Audit & Assurance Team in the planning and execution of the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) audit and assurance program.Responsibilities will include:Lead, coordinate and conduct system, process and product audits to determine compliance with Quality, Safety and Environment management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirementsCollate, interpret and present audit results and outcomes to managementDevelop and implement integrated audit plans, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting of findingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to foster an integrated approach and culture of continuous improvementPrepare and maintain internal audit deliverables, including working papers, report, audit findings, status updates and analysis of key trends and present to senior management.Train and coach internal team members, as appropriate, to enhance employee performance through expansion of skills and capabilitiesEffectively manage relationships within Operations, Assurance, Risk and Compliance team and with cross-business key stakeholders to support appropriate resource allocation and ensure deliverables and timelines are metContinuous learning to remain abreast of industry standards and best practices to enhance audit processes, lead and enable continuous improvementTo be successful you will have:Proven experience as a Lead Auditor in the aerospace or related industryMinimum of 5 years' experience working as a Quality and/or Safety Auditor with proven skills in developing, implementing and conducting complex audit reviewsDemonstrated knowledge and application of relevant Safety and Quality ISO and AS standardsStrong understanding of DASR Part 145, Part M, and Part 21J frameworks (preferred)Working knowledge of ISO 31000 and ISO 17025 (optional)Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively build and manage key stakeholder relationships and work in a team environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsRelevant certifications in auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferredApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.CultureWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
