Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Account Manager within the industrial chemicals sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service to drive satisfaction and revenue growth. Address client needs and ensure successful delivery of products and services. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial chemicals sector. Research and target prospective clients, build networks, and grow the customer base. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the industrial chemicals market. Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and increase market share. Technical Support: Provide clients with technical product knowledge, advice, and solutions, working closely with the technical and product teams to address complex inquiries or concerns. Negotiation and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and agreement renewals. Ensure that agreements meet company guidelines and client expectations. Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use insights to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth. Reporting and Forecasting: Track and report on key account metrics, sales performance, and market activity. Provide regular forecasts and status updates to management. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales within the industrial chemicals sector. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industrial chemicals market, including product applications, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific challenges. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients. Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and understand technical product information and explain it to clients. Previous experience in a technical sales role is a plus. Negotiation and Sales Skills: Proven track record of successful contract negotiation, deal closing, and account growth. Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
