This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

1. Provide specialist assessment, care planning, treatment, withdrawal management, case management and referral services to people experiencing drug and alcohol problems and collaborate in the further development and delivery of a comprehensive multidisciplinary drug and alcohol service.
2. Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical services to provide quality and appropriate care to drug and alcohol clients with co-existing mental health issues and disorders.
3. Provide drug and alcohol education and training, promotion and prevention activities for communities, key services and clients and carers.
4. Participate in clinical handover, clinical supervision and clinical reviews, utilising outcome measures and consumer goals in the development of ongoing care plans

14. Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
15. Current postgraduate or minimum Graduate Certificate qualification in Intensive Care, Coronary Care, or Critical Care.
16. Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
17. Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care patient care.
18. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
19. Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
20. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
