The Company
A leading Australian-owned HVAC engineering and contracting firm, specialising in seamless engineering integration from design to construction across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, is currently in search of a dynamic Project Manager to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in spearheading contract delivery, ensuring seamless coordination between estimating, design, and project management teams.
Key responsibilities include the development and implementation of tender documents, workforce planning, resource allocation, scheduling, cash flow monitoring, and comprehensive reporting for large and complex projects.

The Package
* Competitive salary ranging from $170K to $200K + Superannuation.
* Fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance.
The Responsibilities
* Oversee operational activities for multiple or large-scale projects, ensuring efficient project delivery.
* Minimise risk exposure across projects and maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
* Develop and manage client expectations, ensuring they are met or exceeded.
* Generate progress reports tracking time, cost, and quality metrics.
* Review and maintain project budgets and costs, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
* Coordinate plant and equipment for construction activities.
* Manage commercial construction tenders, negotiations, and operations to project completion.
* Ensure accurate invoicing and claims requests, monitoring receivables.
* Analyse profitability, revenue margins, and rates, ensuring financial objectives are met.
* Forecast, control, and report project financial performance, managing costs against approved budgets.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standard.
The Skills
* Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial design and construction projects.
* Demonstrated project management capability, particularly in projects exceeding $10 million.
* Proficiency in reading and understanding complex engineering and construction drawings.
* Advanced Excel skills for work scheduling and estimating.
* Physical capability to assist and direct on-site works.
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practises.
* Excellent financial management and reporting skills.
* General site safety induction card (blue/white).
