About the role
We are currently seeking positions for Casual Rail Welders for Rail Operations in Sydney NSW. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
Rail-specific duties may include but are not limited to:
Ensuring welding duties meets required standards
Determining the method and sequence of welding operations
Preparing rail to repair and maintain rail tracks
Complete required documentation such as welding and adjustment returns
About you
Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.
Current Thermit Welding Certificate, or equivalent.
Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure.
Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
Valid Drivers Licence Class ‘C’ or ‘HR’.
Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
Hold a current Sydney Trains CON number.
