About you: In your new role you will demonstrate the following: Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical evidence-based, midwifery-led, skill and knowledge in midwifery practices evidenced by feedback, recent practice, and professional development. Ability to provide advanced leadership in clinical decision-making to deliver and/or coordinate pregnancy, intrapartum and postnatal care. Demonstrates leadership capability through the expressed knowledge of team engagement principles and team relationship management, decision-making frameworks, and risk mitigation strategy applicable to the coordination of safe, effective and efficient midwifery care. About your opportunity: In this position you willI provide woman-centred care collaboratively as a key member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve safe and optimal midwifery care in accordance with the National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral. As a Clinical Midwife (Core) you will be responsible for inpatient care for antenatal and postnatal women and neonates including birth suite backup and support. You will work collaboratively, to coordinate and provide care, with the MGP caseload midwives who are the lead maternity providers for consumers across the Cassowary Coast Hub. About your role: Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with CHHHS values as outlined above.
