Key Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and completing the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance department.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a high standard with all areas of unit repairs, external property, and resort common area maintenance in line with Body Corporate requirements.
* Ensuring up-to-date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories, fire safety records, and associated department-related paperwork.
* Leading a team of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
* Coordinating with other departments to resolve maintenance issues and improve overall resort operations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a management or supervisor role.
* Demonstrated high level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building, and pool maintenance).
* Experience in Strata property management properties, holiday letting pools, and caretaking agreements.
* Current First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling.
* Results-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and use initiative.
* Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in Strata ownership operations.
* Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods.
* Ability to maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records and preparation of monthly reports.
