Monadelphous is seeking high-calibre E&I Project Engineers to be involved in an exciting Oil & Gas construction project in Karratha WA. The Woodside Pluto Train 1 Project will entail the installation of switch rooms and electrical equipment to support the operations.
As a pivotal team member, your role as E&I Project Engineer will see you involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle from initial project startup in Perth head office and subsequently transitioning to a site-based position undertaking a 2:1 FIFO roster (ex any capital city) during the construction phase. This arrangement ensures that you will have a balanced work-life schedule while contributing to the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Workpack development and aiding with planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work including organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements.
* Provide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of work.
* Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures. Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance.
* Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements.
What you’ll bring:
* Ideally, 5+ years’ experience in Project Engineering on large-scale O&G construction projects for similar companies.
* Previous experience working in an Electrical Engineering capacity, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones within the mining industry.
* Clear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management.
* HV experience within the petrochemical sector is highly desirable.
* A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work.
* Be delivery focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight schedule.
* Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels./
* Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
* Ability to undertake a 2:1 FIFO roster.
