About the role
Mater Private Hospital Townsville are seeking applications to join our Housekeeping team. To be considered you must have availability to work across all shifts. Shifts ranging from 6:45AM – 8:30PM Monday – Sunday. The successful applicants will be offered Permanent Part Time employment.
Salary range: $30.48 - $33.05 per hour plus superannuation plus 25% Casual Loading and access to salary packaging up to $15,900 annually
What you'll be doing
The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for efficiently undertaking daily cleaning, housekeeping, and linen requirements of the hospital in line with work health and safety standards. The Housekeeping Assistant is required to work at the Pimlico Campus, Hyde Park Campus, Ross River Road Corporate Offices and all annexes of the hospital, including hospital accommodation units.
About you
To be considered suitable for our Housekeeping position you will have:
* Awareness of the importance of hygiene in all aspects of cleaning and housekeeping duties
* Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
* Previous experience working in a hospital setting (desirable)
* Demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality customer service
* Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
