Our Flood Restoration Portfolio (FRP) is the principal delivery agency for restoring the Councils' and Community assets.

What we trust you to deliver Support the FRP project team through the provision of a variety of operational and project administrative tasks.
Manage required financial tasks and other data entry, order of supplies and resources, and distribution of resources.
Secretariat support for Committee meetings and Working Groups and development of papers.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders supporting the FRP.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project.
Perform all tasks with professionalism, sensitivity, and confidentiality and work calmly under pressure.
Abide by the Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, work health and safety, and other legal requirements, and contribute to a safe, healthy, and efficient work environment .
What you'll need to be successful Strong accuracy & attention to detail.
Takes the initiative to add value to the FRP team.
Focus on the identification of problems & developing solutions.
Project-based approach.
Experience working in a project-based approach with the capacity to support multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Self-driven but works as part of a team to achieve common goals and outcomes.
Ability to work in an agile way / respond to competing priorities & shifting demands.
Fast learner and keen to learn / can learn by doing.
Intermediate skills in all MS Office programs, especially in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of government programs such as Content Manager and/or Authority an advantage.
3-5 years in an administration and/or business support role, preferably (but not necessarily) in a project management, construction, or Local Government environment.

This position is a full-time (70 Hrs per fortnight), term-based appointment until 31 December 2026.
