With over 80,000 colleagues worldwide, Alstom leads the charge in creating greener, smarter mobility solutions, connecting cities, reducing carbon emissions, and replacing reliance on cars.ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrician/Electrical Fitter, you will play a pivotal role in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for our state-of-the-art transportation vehicles.Key Responsibilities:•Install and assemble electrical systems and components according to engineering plans and specifications.•Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical issues to ensure optimal performance of transportation vehicles.•Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify solutions for electrical problems and implement improvements.•Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.•Document maintenance and repair activities accurately using electronic systems.•Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.Your ProfileTo be eligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:•Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent qualification.•VIC Electrical licence •Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in the transportation or manufacturing industry.•Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.•Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.•Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.•Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.•Good communication and teamwork skills.What's in it for you?

Day shift - Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm2.
Day shift - Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm3.
