WHAT'S THE ROLE?As the Regional Segment Manager - Mining, you will be responsible for driving the Mining Segment in the region and develop and execute Regional Segment Strategy in collaboration with the Global Segment Manager. The role involves supporting the sales team in driving customer development, defining standards, and bringing in sales.WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?Being the expert for the Mining segment (industry know how, market participants, competitors, application development, technologies, trends, fact base etc.)Developing business plans as defined in the Mining strategy with the respective Market Organization / business partnersDeveloping a market development plan for the respective geographical area of responsibilityBuilding relationships and cooperation within Market Organizations / business partners to support and drive implementation of business and market development plansActively manage and steer the area of responsibility (geography / Mining segment) towards defined targets (net sales, profitability) based on a transparent and accurate reportingEnsure development and implementation of capture plan methodology for the defined customer projects and lead the Account development with focus AccountsDeliver Global & Regional Project Management support according to requirements, e.g. defined in the capture plansEnsure the development of application / project references for the area of responsibility (geography / Mining segment) in order to drive experience exchange and competence build-upUpdate of the fact base (segmentation, key applications, stakeholders etc.) according the required cyclesWHAT YOU NEED IS:University degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Mining Degree), MBA preferred8 – 12 years working experience in Mining Industry; ideally with experience in Sales & Marketing, Design & Engineering, Project Management related with the Mining segmentKnowledge of the design and construction process, with excellent understanding of the specification process and the sales and engineering collaborationStrong business acumen and customer orientationStrong team collaboration capability and ability to work within a matrix organizationWillingness to travel internationally for business and International mobility in the long term is preferableExcellent communication and networking skillsInterested?
