Role Purpose:
As the Head of Brand, you will ensure that Fantastic Furniture's brand is consistent, memorable, and resonates across all platforms—from in-store displays to online engagement and everywhere in between. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative brand strategies and marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall business goals. Your leadership will grow our brand presence and create memorable retail experiences for our customers, driving excitement, loyalty, footfall, and online visits.

Direct Reports: 3 (Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Managers x 2)
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership:
o Adapt coaching styles to meet team needs.

o Define, develop, and evolve our brand identity across all channels.
o Design campaigns that drive loyalty and customer engagement.
o Engage with research agencies to develop and implement customer research projects.
* Operational Excellence:
o Analyse, improve, and track campaign success through KPIs and data-driven insights.
o Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability.
o Develop and execute supplier evaluation and contract negotiation programs.
* Community Engagement:
o Develop and implement campaigns that build Fantastic Furniture's credibility in the community and planet.
o Support sustainability initiatives through powerful messaging.
* Business Growth:
o Develop and execute campaigns that capture attention and foster emotional connections with customers.
o Oversee the development of compelling content and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
Success Profile:
* Experience:
o Substantial experience in marketing roles, including brand management and campaign execution.
o Previous exposure to media (both mass and digital) and working with creative and media agencies.
o Experience in writing marketing briefs and working in retail marketing (desirable).
o Proven track record of developing and implementing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
o Experience in customer research and using insights to drive marketing strategies.
o Strong background in budget management and optimizing marketing spend.
* Qualifications:
o Tertiary qualifications in business disciplines.
o Tertiary qualifications in marketing (desirable).
* Technical Skills:
o A creative leader with a sharp sense of what makes brands thrive in retail.
o Data-savvy with a talent for translating numbers into actionable insights.
o Skilled at developing multi-channel campaigns that tell a compelling story.

Direct Reports:
As the Head of Brand, you will have three direct reports: a Brand Manager and two Assistant Brand Managers. You will lead, coach, and support these team members to meet their individual performance and development goals. Your leadership will foster a collaborative team environment based on growth, resilience, integrity, and accountability. You will actively engage your team through effective communication and activities, empowering them to achieve high levels of engagement and performance.
