About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Data Architect for a 2-year fixed-term role to design and implement a robust data architecture that supports our operational environment and transformation initiatives. This role is key to ensuring the integrity, scalability, and accessibility of enterprise data, while enabling our ongoing transformation objectives. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing EA's data architecture, ensuring effective data collection, storage, integration, and accessibility. They will also lead the development and implementation of data management practices, standards, and technologies to enhance the quality, accessibility, and security of EA's data assets.

In This Role You WillData Architecture Development – Lead the development and implementation of the target state data architecture, creating strategic roadmaps, designs, and implementation packages.Standards and Policies Management – Manage architecture blueprints, standards, and policies for the data domain, ensuring they are accessible, clear, agreed upon, and up-to-date.Data Governance and Integration – Design data models for scalability and integration, ensuring consistency and alignment with best practices for data governance and integration across systems and processes.Master & Reference Data Management – Define the sources of master data and reference data to ensure consistent data usage across systems and business processes.Maximize Business Value from Data – Identify opportunities for the organization to leverage data for business value and support the definition and application of data-related policies, including retention, archiving, access, and privacy.Collaboration and Continuous Improvement – Work with process analysts, technical domains, and security teams to ensure data is sourced, stored, and used appropriately, following policies and security controls for continuous improvement.Advanced Data Capability – Leverage emerging trends and technologies to build cutting-edge data and advanced analytics capabilities, defining data requirements and controlling data assets in alignment with the data strategy.
Here's What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience – Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years as a Data Architect in operational environments and transformation programs.Data Architecture & Modelling – Proficiency in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data integration, with a strong knowledge of data governance, quality, and master data management.Enterprise Architecture & Tools – Experience with enterprise architecture, data modelling tools (e.g., ArchiMate), and driving architectural change for business transformation.Technical Expertise – Expertise in cloud-based data platforms, ETL tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Azure Data Factory), and working in Agile environments, with a focus on structured and semi-structured data processing.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and communicate effectively, with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
