This highly reputable company based in Hawthorn are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team immediately. Initially, this would be a temporary opportunity with a view to a permanent contract.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
* Managing the end-to-end payroll process
* Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payment runs, with a mixture of contractors and salaried staff members.
* Ensure the correct EBA and awards have been applied
* Ensure all payroll policies and legislation are abided by.
* Complete manual calculations.
* Assist with month-end processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have strong payroll experience because the payroll processes are fairly complex and can be manual at times. If you have ADP experience, this will be highly advantageous. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential to this role as well as being immediately available.
