About Your Role
The Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing, planning and delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to patients/clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) in order to support management of their health needs and to promote wellness.
The Level 3 Dietitian has recognised high level clinical skills enabling them to work across a range of clinical areas within their discipline or specialty area and are able to provide novel, complex and critical clinical services to patients, families and carers with a high level of professional knowledge.
The Level 3 Dietitian operates autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision and has a consultative role within their area of speciality.
The Level 3 Dietitian has an operational/supervisory role within the team, including planning, implementation, and evaluation and reporting on clinical services and are involved in the implementation of MLHD protocols, initiatives, policies and procedures.
