We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team at Bison Constructions.
This role requires a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to manage the construction phase of Industrial projects.

Bison Construction's head office is in Scottsdale; however, we also have state-of-the-art office locations in Hobart, Launceston, and Devonport.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the construction phase of industrial projects around the state predominantly office-based with regular site visits as required.Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects from council approvals through to final handover to the client.Review design plans and provide feedback to the internal pre-construction team.Award scopes to sub-contractors, liaising with them during the project as well as managing their progress.Project finance, invoicing, and budget management, including real-time cost recording to track total project expenditure.Oversee daily site operations and ongoing site requirements - your larger projects will have a dedicated site supervisor which you will manage.Ensure the successful delivery of projects while ensuring maintenance of customer satisfaction, project timeline, budget, quality of workmanship, site presentation and safety.Organise and conduct site audits throughout the project as well as the final project handover to the client.Key Relationships and Responsibilities: Client: Communication of relevant project detail and documentation as well as providing weekly job progress updates.Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.Suppliers: Maintenance of quality relationships with Bison's key suppliers and ensure timely and safe delivery of materials.Contractors: Collaborate with contractors regarding pricing, scheduling, scope of works, time frames, quality, and documentation.Building Surveyors/Councils/Consultants: Communicate and follow up with building surveyors/councils regarding inspections and completion of documentation in a timely manner.Project Managers: Work alongside Bison's other project managers to efficiently allocate resources and schedule projects.Client Relations Team: Communicate client updates and correspondence with the client relations team throughout construction through use of Bison's CRM.Pre-Construction Team: Work with the pre-construction team to ensure all design documentation and build methodology are successfully implemented during the construction phase.Procurement Team: Gather required information and hand over all details to the procurement team to source materials in a cost effective and timely manner.Project Delivery Manager: Report directly to the project delivery manager on project progress, profitability, client feedback, and overall project performance.Operations Team: Work with the operations team to coordinate manufacturing and delivery of all construction materials to the site on schedule.Bison Site Teams: Brief the site foreman on construction details and build methodology as well as manage onsite needs to ensure quality of workmanship is up to the Bison standard and project is delivered in the required timeframe.Finance Team: Work with the finance team to raise invoices as work is completed, track live profitability of projects, and complete Bison's project closeout review process.Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management.Competent IT skills.Cert IV in Construction is preferable.Knowledge of financial functions.Personal Requirements: Ability to effectively work with, manage, and lead people.Ability to build positive relationships with clients.Ability to work effectively under pressure and make the most of available resources.Effective communication skills.Self motivated and highly driven to achieve goals.A team player with a positive attitude.#J-18808-Ljbffr
