Job Summary:
GBS Technologies is an independently owned and operated IT Solutions Company. We are one of the fastest-growing TELUS dealers in the country with 30 locations across Atlantic Canada and 5 specialty locations with Mobile Klinik.

We are seeking a skilled candidate to fill this hybrid role of a cellular repair technician and sales advisor. A successful candidate is poised and engaging, empathetic in their communication style that is based on natural warmth and enthusiasm. They will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mobility devices while following standard practices. This is key to achieving the success of this role. The role requires a high degree of “selling” products or services that can help solve our customer's mobility needs.
Responsibilities:
Repair cellular devices as required by our customers.
Manage inventory of repair components and order parts as required.
Learn our products and services at a level where you can teach them to our clients.
Proactively practice your repair and sales techniques with your teammates.
Use the TELUS online activation system and our POS system to process your transactions.
Process contracts and other administrative work required by the position.
Open or close the store location and be available to work any shift the retail location is open.
Ability to adapt to the evolving wireless/IT technology that drives our industry.
Qualifications:
Competent, confident, competitive, assertive & has a desire to be recognized as an individual and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and someone who enjoys laughing with teammates and making the best of any situation.
Motivated to overachieve minimum expectation levels of performance and challenge your teammates in contests and incentives.
Computer literacy is essential.
Good presentation skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
Excellent fine motor skills and experience working with minuscule mediums.
