If you have program facilitation and/or behaviour change experience and are looking to further your career with an organisation dedicated to the prevention of Family Domestic Violence and Abuse (FDVA), then we have just the role for you!The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Behaviour Change Facilitator to join our Connect and Respect Men’s Behaviour Change Program.In this role you will be part of a passionate and dedicated team delivering a specifically designed program to men who choose to use violence and abuse in their relationships with partners(s) or family members. The program is delivered in a secure and supportive therapeutic setting and provides educational group work, informal counselling, individual case management and advocacy.Your Key Responsibilities:Facilitation of group work for men who choose to use violence in intimate relationships and provide support to work towards positive change.Contributing to risk assessments, safety planning, case management, case note and report writing.Conducting specialised intake assessments of potential clients.Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.Managing crisis and emotional distress of clients.If you have experience working with clients and groups focused on behaviour change for FDVA, AOD, Mental Health or other relatable support areas, we want to hear from you! This is your chance to transfer those skills and contribute to the safety of women and children impacted by FDVA.This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight. Due to the nature of the position and industry, there may be a requirement to work early evenings.
