Role Profile: Technical Product Owner Position Details Title : Technical Product Owner Reports To : Product Manager Duration - 12 months Role Overview As the Technical Product Owner for the Consent, Obligations, Permissions, and Preferences (COPP) initiative, you will lead the technical strategy and execution of this high-priority program. Your role is critical in defining and delivering the product vision, managing the technical backlog, and ensuring seamless integration across multiple systems, including experience platforms, customer service cloud, feedback management, customer account management, and cloud services. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Data and Compliance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure COPP meets business, regulatory, and customer needs while driving innovation and operational efficiency. Key Accountabilities Technical Execution and Alignment Lead the technical execution of COPP, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements Own and prioritize the product backlog, defining user stories and technical requirements for development teams Stakeholder and Technical Coordination Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable deliverables Ensure seamless integration across platforms Oversee technical feasibility of requirements and de-risk implementation challenges Governance and Compliance Define and implement data governance and security measures Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations Develop and manage cross-team dependencies Monitor and report on business and product objectives and key results Strategic Planning and Innovation Refine COPP's roadmap by incorporating industry trends and evolving regulatory requirements Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including vendor evaluation and selection Required Capabilities and Experience Technical Expertise Strong product ownership experience in data management, consent management, or regulatory-driven platforms Proficiency with: Experience platforms Customer service cloud Cloud services Data governance tools Understanding of customer data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance Analytical mindset with experience in digital analytics, data lineage, and observability tools Professional Skills Minimum 3 years of Product Owner experience Strong stakeholder management skills Cross-functional team collaboration Agile methodologies expertise Excellent written and oral communication Attention to detail Risk assessment and decision-making capabilities Software Proficiency Microsoft Office products Project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) Agile process and principles Preferred Qualifications Experience in large, complex organizations Working knowledge of highly regulated industries Interest in or background in service-based industries Additional Notes Strong preference for candidates with proven ability to navigate complex technical and regulatory environments Demonstrated track record of successful cross-functional project delivery
