The Role
As a Technical Sales and Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales efforts and providing exceptional technical support to customers and distributors. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, offering solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. You should be able to develop an excellent connection with new and existing clients by sharing technical information and building confidence in our client’s solutions. Reporting to the South Australian Sales Manager, this will involve:
1. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
2. Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities
3. Organising and planning customer calls and visits in advance for meeting optimisation
4. Providing technical support and demonstrating product information to customers
5. Participation in field days and industry updates including presentation delivery
6. Regular travel to visit customers (60% of the role)
The Person
To secure this exciting opportunity, candidates will require the following:
1. A connection with Australian agronomy
2. Sales or sales support experience
3. A desire to work in an exciting expanding business
4. High levels of motivation and excellent communications skills
5. Qualifications in agricultural science, agronomy or rural technology (highly regarded)
6. Reliability, strong organisational skills and accountability
7. A willingness to travel as needed (overnight)
