Full Time Chef to Lead and Manage the Kitchen Team
We are seeking an experienced Full Time Chef to lead and manage our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning menus, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented, and managing kitchen staff.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and develop menus that showcase creativity and expertise in food preparation.
* Estimate food and menu costs, monitor inventory levels, and manage stock orders to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
* Supervise and guide kitchen staff in cooking procedures, presentation, and plate appeal.
* Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring timely service and meeting health and safety standards.
* Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
* Monitor and control food freshness, stock levels, and inventory management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a Head Chef or equivalent position.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and remain calm in fast-paced environments.
* Positive attitude, passion for food, and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position (40 hours per week).
* Competitive salary range ($70,000 - $80,000 per year).
