This position is located in the Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services, Office of Emergencies in the Diplomatic and Consular Service (CGFS/EDCS).EDCS is unique in that it serves as the Under Secretary for Management's coordination and communication mechanism concerning management, distribution, policy, and accountability of the Department's EDCS Appropriation and Gift Fund. Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements, including education, and any selective placement factors described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing and analyzing gift fund solicitation programs. Experience working with crisis management actors to identify crisis planning opportunities. Experience providing policy guidance as it relates to gifts.
