About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to support our Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in our Renal Dialysis Unit. In this leadership role, you’ll deliver person-centered clinical care and manage individual cases, while also mentoring less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Enhance Patient Care: Collaborate with the NUM and fellow ANUMs to ensure seamless haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home patient care delivery and patient training.
* Drive Improvements: Assist in implementing practice changes that enhance patient outcomes.
* Support Management Tasks: Work alongside the NUM on performance evaluations, recruitment, staffing, and financial planning.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or inspiring leader to support the NUM in leading a dedicated, and progressive team focused on person-centred care, excellence, transparency, and positive workplace culture.
Essential Criteria
* Registration: Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-registration nursing experience, or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
* Clinical Competence: Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, person-centered clinical care in a fast-paced environment.

Port Pirie Regional Health Service is a 52 bed Acute facility inclusive of Emergency, Perioperative, Renal Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Birthing, Outpatient Services, Acute Medical and Acute Surgical Services with a co-located Residential Aged Care Facility - Hammill House.
Port Pirie Renal Dialysis Unit is a dynamic service, operating 6 days per week which provides comprehensive renal dialysis services for consumers within the region.
Led by a dedicated, highly skilled, values driven leadership team, the department is focussed on best-practice, evidence-based renal dialysis services.
