Receptionist/Secretarial Support - Law Firm
Lewis & McNamara Solicitors provide legal services in property, business, family law, estates, and dispute resolution, and are seeking a new team member to assist with reception, secretarial, and administrative duties.
The primary tasks of the position will include:
* Managing the reception area
* Answering incoming telephone calls
* Assisting with opening and closing files and management of safe custody records
* Liaising with clients and professional staff
* Typing dictation and preparing legal documents under instruction
* Assisting with invoicing and receipting
* Document delivery and collection
* Assisting with the day-to-day tidying of the office
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
* Computer skills including touch typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Professional and polite telephone manner
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work autonomously and as a team player
* Understanding the importance of confidentiality and protection of client's privacy
This position is offered on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at our Hervey Bay office located in Pialba.
While the position is advertised as full-time, flexibility can be provided, and those seeking part-time hours or who may wish to job share with relevant experience and skills are encouraged to apply.
