We’re spearheading a new downstream processing industry for the nation, transforming magnetite iron ore into a high-grade, premium export product.The OpportunityTo Support the HME Superintendent, the HME Supervisor – FEW (Fabrication Engineering Workshop) and be responsible for the supervision of Leading Hands, tradespersons, contractors, apprentices, trainees and other department personnel. Maintain a safe and efficient workplace environment and ensure CPM Policies and Procedures are adhered to. Allocate prioritised repair tasks considering the maintenance schedule and breakdown workload. This is a permanent position on a family friendly 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.ResponsibilitiesPromote a safe working environment through leading by example and conducting inspections, SWO’s and Good to Go’s, etc.Demonstrate personal compliance with CPM Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.Be familiar with your subordinates compliance with CPM Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.Align with 8 golden rules, and adopt work practices that are both safe and promote a clean and efficient workplace at all times.Oversee and assist in the formulation and review of JHEA’s as per CPM site procedures and statutory requirements.Supervise execution of the weekly maintenance plan, and breakdown repairs as required.Provide instruction, assistance, direction and on-the-job training to Leading Hands, tradespersons, apprentices, trainees and maintenance personnel in the performance of their duties.Maintain legible, coherent and accurate documentation relating to goods requisitions, work order management, and backlog maintenance records.Maintain CMS {SAP} application in relation to workflow process, and align with HME RACI model.Responsible for audit and maintenance of workshop tooling and equipment to standard.Review safe work procedures on a regular basis with maintenance teams, and submit review recommendations to Superintendent.Environmental and aboriginal heritage compliance to CPM environmental policies and procedures.Promote continuous improvement.Follow instructions from Superintendent.What we offerThe chance to work at an innovative, world-class projectCareer progression and trainingTo applyShortlisting for this position will commence immediately.
