Presently, we are in search of a motivated individual to integrate into our Disability Access team at our Melbourne (Clayton) office. The chosen candidate will operate at the vanguard of an emerging field, collaborating with a vibrant team of professionals in an encouraging and lively workplace environment
THE ROLE
As a senior team member, your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with disability regulations across various projects while also overseeing business objectives. This position offers a distinct opportunity for career advancement!
DUTIES Provide leadership and support to the team, including training for GraduatesAssistance with the development of business initiativesWorking with the Director and assisting with day-to-day operational tasksIdentifying a need and hiring additional personnelAssist the Director in conducting annual performance reviews of the teamAssist with business budgeting and forecasting on a quarterly and annual basisReview and assist with pricing structures to ensure competitiveness and relevancePreparation of fee proposalsReview construction design documentation on a variety of small, medium and large-scale projectsOffer professional advice to clients, fostering strong business relationshipsOversee quality assurance, document control, and management processesConduct site inspections and access auditsPreparation of Reports including but not limited to Performance Solutions, Design assessments etc.ABOUT YOU Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Access ConsultantRegistration as a Draftsperson, Building Surveyor, or Accredited Access Consultant is favourable but not essentialPossession of a valid Victorian driver's licensePassion for enhancing accessibility in the built environmentStrong creativity, drive, and attention to detailExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExceptional customer service skillsAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively within a teamProficiency in report writing and mentoring capabilities About the recruiterYour application will include the following questions:
