This may include implementations of hardware and software solutions, project management and other consultancy services. Provide pre-sales technical support to the Sales teams on Canon and 3rd party hardware and software solutions as required. This role reports to the Manager – Professional Services & offers a high degree of flexibility in operating; it may be based from NSW or QLD.Main DutiesImplementation of Canon solutionsImplementation of solutions for customers incorporating both Canon and 3rd party products, ensuring any proposed solution is technically correct and meets the customer requirementsWorkshops, scoping, and solution formation around Canon and partner productsEnsure customer-facing projects' productivity and efficiency on average are 100%Identify, document and report to Sales change requests and new opportunitiesProvision of technical support to the Sales team during the pre-sales processKeep track of billable hours and feed information through to line manager via relevant systemDevelop, maintain and implement methodologies and standards within the Professional Services teamCoach other Services team members and Sales team in areas of expertiseProject management of large implementationsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have an IT background & experience in managing projects. You would also possess a high level of understanding and application of most of the following: Imaging, Document Management, Workflow and / or similar technologies, Production Printing and Colour Management. You would have proven ability to meet targets and deadlines effectively across multiple simultaneous projects. Key skills & experience include:Minimum 5 years work experience in Information Technology, IT systems integration and / or consulting;Specialist knowledge across one or more technologies / expertise with strong analytical skills. Able to contribute in a number of technical & consulting areas to complex customer situations & solutions.In-depth knowledge of and experience with standard IT environments and the protocols used.In-depth knowledge of printing / imaging solutions with experience in pre-sales preferred.Reasonably high level of business and organisational understanding, as applied in the consulting and development environment.Ability to communicate well with all levels (internal and external) in both business and technical contexts.Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines effectively across multiple simultaneous projects.In return, you will get the chance to work for a multinational company, with a real opportunity to take your skills to the next level.
