The Position
We are currently on the look out for multiple FACEM's for a permanent vacancy in ACT. We have multiple full-time and part-time positions available.
Under limited direction of the Clinical Director, you will perform the following duties;
1. In partnership with other members of the Emergency Department team, have accountability for day-to-day operations of the service and endeavour to ensure that clinical, strategic and key performance indicators are met.
2. Play a key role in ensuring that care delivery and clinical outcomes within the service reflect best practice.
3. Be responsible for the clinical supervision of Registrars and Junior Medical Officers, and for the education and training of medical professionals.
4. Be responsible for conducting, supervising and encouraging research and quality assurance activities.

Essential Criteria
* Be registered or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Hold a Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or an equivalent higher specialist qualification
* To qualify for consideration as Senior Staff Specialist, the candidate must have been working at a Specialist level for a minimum of 8 years.
