The Role Under the supervision of our operations Manager and reporting to the project Manager, you will be in charge of coordinating and managing the works associated with the deployment of our solutions on a major civil infrastructure project in Adelaide.
The preparation, installation and commissioning of our automated survey equipment to the best level of quality required for a successful monitoring scheme at site locations.Site work will involve settlement monitoring using digital level and 3D survey monitoring on buildings and structures among others in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and method statements.Set out and mark monitoring points locations using precision survey instruments and conduct levelling surveys.Perform settlement and displacement measurements to monitor structural stability and assess changes over time.Analyze and process survey data using advanced software tools to produce detailed reports.Maintain, calibrate, and operate a wide range of survey instruments, including total stations, GPS, and levels.Maintain accurate and organized records of survey activities, measurements, and reports.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate survey data and advice.Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in survey data and implement corrective measures as needed.Where required, provide support for the installation of the survey monitoring points and other instruments.The testing, assembling, preparing equipment ready for projects; preparing project documentation and maintaining records; assisting with general maintenance and upkeep of equipment, plant and the facilities in the office/workshop and at site.Enforcing high H&S and Quality standards on our operations.Profile Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.You have a minimum of 3 years of direct experience working on major civil infrastructure projects: tunnels, structures, etc.Proficiency in using modern survey equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser levels.Strong knowledge of leveling, settlement, displacement measurements, and topographic survey methods.Experience using power tools and hands-on installations.Flexible with regards to roles and working hours and willingness to travel.Good computer literacy – word, excel and outlook (Office 365).You are curious, thorough, and self-driven with a keen ear for your clients' needs and pain-points to which you try to find the best solutions.You are capable of working autonomously but are also a team player and feel comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment.Have valid working rights in Australia, driving license etc.Seniority levelAssociate
