About the Role Our Sustainable Futures Service Unit is seeking an experienced and competent community liaison officer to assist in the effective delivery of changes to the waste industry and climate emergency priorities.
Vital to the success of this role you will have the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, communicate effectively with a broad range of people, manage your time and work priorities.
You are a motivated person who has a track record of providing a high level of community engagement and behaviour change programs.
You are an experienced listener with a high level of communication skills and have demonstrated experience working within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Your strong communication skills enables you to effectively communicate and establish relationships with stakeholders including community, contractors, businesses and government.
Skills and Experience Qualifications in a relevant field or several years of experience in waste education or behaviour change programs Advanced oral, written and listening communication skills including public speaking Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of waste management related initiatives and activities.
Highly proficient user of MS Office Suite, data management software, customer service request systems and general software and equipment.
A strong customer focussed collaborator, able to build strong relationships and support others.
Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
Current Victorian driver's licence.
