Congenital Cardiology Research Nurse Royal Melbourne Hospital The RMH Adult Congenital Cardiology Service currently cares for 4,000 adult congenital patients and is a steadily growing service. It provides a weekly outpatient clinic, inpatient services, congenital echoes/MRIs as well as structural congenital interventional and congenital cardiac surgical service. The Congenital Cardiac Service also provides regional clinics with Geelong and Ballarat and links to Launceston and Hobart. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Congenital Cardiac team. The duties allocated to this role are primarily to support clinical research in Congenital Cardiology. Your new role: Recruitment of participants as per study protocols. Schedule study appointments in coordination with supporting departments. Meet participants at study appointments and coordinate on-site logistics. Perform necessary assessments with participants as per study protocols. These assessments may include physical examination, height, weight, blood pressure and heart rate measurements, ECG, concomitant medication review, and administration of participant self-reported questionnaires. Meticulous data entry of participant study data. Provide and receive regular updates from study investigators to ensure clear communication. About you: You are an AHPRA registered Division 1 Nurse with at least 3 years acute Cardiology nursing experience. You have experience with research study coordination, particularly with studies involving tests/investigations. You have experience with participant recruitment and obtaining informed study consent. You have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure clear communication between participants, supporting departments and administrative staff, and study investigators. You have experience using RMH EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
