Position Title: Theatre Technician Classification: IN11 Salary per hour: $39.87 superannuation generous salary packaging options Employment Type: Ongoing full-time OR Ongoing part-time 38 to 76 hours per fortnight Award: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 Role description We are currently seeking applications from an enthusiastic Theatre Technician to work within our multidisciplinary team on a part time or full time basis. The successful applicant will contribute to the promotion and delivery of high standard care. Your duties will include (but not limited to) the following: Assist nursing staff in preparing the operating theatre for surgery Assist medical and nursing staff in transferring and positioning the patients Assist in the transportation of patients within and outside the operating suite. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Assist in stock replacement within the operating suite. About you To be successful within this role you will need to (ideally) have: A certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Support (HLT47515) or an equivalent recognized qualification awarded by a registered training organization. Greater than 12 months of prior relevant experience as a Theatre Technician.
