To find out more, visit www.holcim.com.au/careers About the opportunity: This a key role in which you will be responsible for the provision of administration support to key project teams, as well as administration support to the project sites and hands-on support to all functional areas of the project teams.
You will be providing the Mobile Projects Manager with key input and coordination towards tender prequalification preparation as well as ongoing document control, reporting and key support to project teams during tender phase through to mobilisation, execution and finally demobilisation.
Detailed responsibilities are found in the PD which is available upon request and will include: Assisting in coordination and preparation of concrete supply tenders along side the Mobile Projects Manager.
Preparing and submitting documentation in conjunction with Project Managers.
Responding to client issued formal correspondence and preparing and submitting formal correspondence to clients.
Assisting in preparation of reports including Monthly reports, Indigenous Reports, Environmental Reports, Weekly Reports and other reports as required by contracts.
Preparing and reviewing project progress claims in conjunction with Project Managers and the contract requirements.
Updating of various project folders on the project database ensuring document registers and documentation are numbered correctly, stored in the correct location and are up to date.
Assisting in day-to-day administration tasks as required.
Supporting the Project Managers and Mobile Projects Team in meeting the requirements for the client, including attendance at client project meetings and driving close out of actions as assigned.
Effectively communicating relevant project information to project staff.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Work effectively with team/work groups to accomplish organisational goals, taking actions that respect the needs and contribution of others.
To be successful in this role you will need: Sound experience in a similar administrative role (highly regarded but not mandatory).
Basic knowledge of concrete and quarry products (highly regarded but not mandatory).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with a variety of systems and IT programs.
High degree of computer literacy.
A service-oriented approach to work Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions.
Intermediate proficiency in Google suite preferred.
