Join Our Team as Fleet Coordinator!
We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join us in a newly created role that will be pivotal in supporting our staff members across remote Indigenous Communities.
Your Mission: Under the guidance of the Safety, Fleet, and Facilities Manager, you’ll provide a centralised maintenance service that ensures our ALPA-owned fleet of vehicles are managed economically and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working within the Maintenance Team, provide regular scheduling of planned maintenance, and coordinating unplanned repairs for 300 plus vehicles in extremely remote locations.
* Coordinate tradespeople for remote visits and obtaining quotes for vehicle maintenance and improvements.
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all site/store Managers.
* Work with Divisional representatives to overcome maintenance and repair issues and work closely with Finance team to ensure appropriate cost allocation per Division.
* Undertake all purchasing, expense management, and asset management through the established procedures.
* Support individual business units with purchasing decisions.
About You
* Exceptional organisation skills;
* Understanding of procurement processes
* Highly effective interpersonal skills
* Proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
* Experience coordinating contractors who are operating in remote areas.
* An intermediate level ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Internal sales experience is highly desirable
