We're here to Stride.About the Service:Brisbane MIND – Kilcoy, under the leadership of Stride, provides short-term psychological therapies for people with mild to moderate mental illness.The Brisbane MIND – Kilcoy program is funded by Brisbane North Primary Health Network (PHN) to service those in the regional areas of the Brisbane North catchment. The program is delivered in Kilcoy and is remotely supported by Stride Hub Caboolture.On Offer:Based in Kilcoy, QLDPart-time working 1 day per week (0.2 FTE), this is a fixed-term opportunity to 30 June 2025Paying on HPSS Level 3 (above award payment for highly experienced clinicians) plus SuperSalary packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650!Leave loading at 17.5%Excellent training and developmentReflective practice supervisionSupportive team environmentStride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)Role Overview:Provide brief intervention treatment and evaluations for people with mild to moderate mental illnessPrepare case notes and documentation following intervention for case managementWork autonomously and collaboratively with other clinicians within the programParticipate in the planning and development of services for people experiencing mental health issues, and their families, which are consistent with best practice standards and evidence-based care, and are in line with the strategic direction and vision for Brisbane MIND - KilcoyRequirements:Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as a Social WorkerKnowledge and skills which are gained through qualifications and previous experience in a mental health service delivery environmentProven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planningSound understanding of the public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs and associated non-mental health programs in a community settingDemonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illnessDemonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasksExcellent verbal communication and writing skillsProven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentialityMust be eligible to apply/ currently hold a Blue CardMust hold/ be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceCurrent drivers licenseStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
