This critical role will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end process cohesion and integration of these applications, capabilities and processes across the core SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), SAP GTS (Global Trade Services), data, analytics, digital, AI/ML, replenishment, 3PL, and finance solutions within a fast-paced retail environment.
The Senior Integration Manager must possess a deep understanding of integration methodologies, end-to-end business processes to support the full value chain, strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs with a core SAP backend.Sound good?
Read on.Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Develop and execute the overall strategic integration plans outlining goals, timelines, milestones, and dependencies for complex projects, considering business needs and potential challenges.
This will include working closely with the integration architects to ensure alignment across the overall integration strategy, roadmap, and project plans to ensure end-to-end process cohesion, application integration and seamless process orchestration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams from various departments, including business stakeholders, legal, assurance, and technical teams to gather and analyse integration requirements to ensure effective collaboration and alignment throughout the integration process.Oversee the requirements gathering, functional needs, system compatibility, process and technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
Work closely with the relevant domain, integration and enterprise architects to ensure alignment with internal development teams, external vendors, and system integrators.Define, plan, and execute integration with the ERP system, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and ensure a successful integration.
Regularly update steering committees and senior leadership on integration progress, challenges, and risks.Work closely with changement teams and communicate integration plans clearly to all impacted teams and stakeholders to ensure change is effectively managed.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integration points.Oversee data migration from legacy systems to the new integrated platforms, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and adhering to data governance requirements and policies with the Data Migration Manager.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and system integrators to implement scalable integration solutions.Define, implement and coordinate comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and integrity of the integrated solutions.
Oversee the execution of unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.Plan and execute the deployment of integrated solutions, providing necessary support during and after go-live.Manage and monitor the integration projects, including scope, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of integration projects.Ensure proper documentation of integration solutions, end-to-end process impacts and mappings, and change impacts, including specifications, data mappings, and operational procedures.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to support teams.Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimisation and application rationalisation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices.What do we need from youNow let's talk about you: Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in IT, with a strong focus on systems integration in a Retail environment or enterprise ERP transformations.Strong experience managing complex projects with multiple dependencies and timelines.Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignmentAbility to analyse data and identify potential integration issues to develop effective solutionsUnderstanding of relevant systems, technologies, and data structures involved in integration projectsUnderstanding of integration patterns, methodologies (e.g., API-led, event-driven), and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, message queues)Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, SAP GTS, BTP CPI and data warehousing conceptsExperience with data mapping, transformation, and ETL processesDeep knowledge of business processes and how integration impacts different departments within an organisationExcellent project management skills, including experience managing complex integration projectsStrong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentThe benefits are good too!
